The thrush-fieldfare is a rather large bird, a representative of the Drozd family, a close relative of the sparrow.
The appearance of the bird is quite recognizable. The size of an adult individual is 25-29 cm, the average weight is 105 g, but it can reach 130 g. The wingspan is slightly more than 40 cm.
The color of the thrush-fieldfare also attracts attention: the head and nadhvoste are gray, the back and wings are painted in dark brown shades, the tail is coal-black.
